Barnwell is 2.5 miles from Oundle, which is 10 miles from Peterborough.
The historic buildings in Oundle are of exceptional architectural quality and mostly date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The
staircase in the Talbot Hotel is said to have come from Fotheringhay Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots was executed in
1587. Barnwell Castle was the home of Princess Alice and belongs to the Montague family.

bridle ways to choose from. Walk, cycle, sail, fish, eat, play or just to take a breath of fresh air, Willow Cottage provides

and meadows in a loop of the river Nene and is a haven for wildlife including swans, geese, otters, heron, kingfishers,
